I heard yesterday that I'm losing my job thanks to budget cuts. My department has to cut three million euros. Since it took me 10 months to find this job, I'm not happy. Thankgod my boyfriend has a job now that can potentially support us both, so it's less critical this time. Still, it sucks. I love my job

Sooo, my beloved watchers already have seen it: my newest project - my tattoo. It's almost done now. The first session was 5 hours, the second session 6 hours. Only 3 more hours to go before it's completely finished (I hope, my tattoo artist is an even bigger perfectionist than I am). It's itching like hell now, but it's worth it. This idea was in my head for about 5 years, and I'm relieved to finally see it come to life. It's even better (and bigger) than it ever was in my head.

About everything else... well. Winter struck hard with me - drained a lot of energy. It's getting warmer now, and with the sun, my energy is slowly coming back. So I'm also hoping to get more writing done - I still need to finish The Artist. It will be completed - I promise.

Woohoo, my boyfriend finally got a job! In fact, he got two of them. He had two job interviews yesterday, and today both companies called back to offer him the job. After months of frustration, this is so amazing, we both can't stop talking about it. We're bouncing around the house like a bunch of hyperactive Duracel bunnies. This christmas and newyear, we have something extra to celebrate!

This year ends fantastic for us, and I wish the same for each one of you.

So I've been founder of Poets-N-Prose for about... one? two? months now, and I haven't done shit. Now I can give you a lot of excuses why I didn't do anything, but it basically comes down to: it wasn't very high on my priority list.

The submissions are still coming, new members are joining every day, but there is not much happening anymore. And that's a bloody shame, especially since it has been my favorite group from the very beginning.

So now I'm kicking myself into action. And I need people who can help me kick my butt. So if there are any motivated writers out there who would like to help me make this group perfect, I would really appreciate it ^^ Any help is welcome!

Hum, now serious. I have just been promoted to Founder of . I'm excited and terrified. Excited to rampage through the group and change it to my every whim *cough*. And terrified because deep down, I have no clue what I'm doing xD

Thankgod there's as CoFounder to hold my hand and kick me in the right direction, or I would have gone completely off the chart.

And there's a question for you, my darling watchers and random people who happened to stumble across this journal: What does your perfect group look like? How do you promote a connection between your members that goes beyond the occasional deviation-dump? And what are big DON'Ts?
